Customer On-Site Inspection at Our Carbon Steel Plate Warehouse

Last week, we welcomed an overseas client to our carbon steel plate facility for a pre‑shipment inspection. The visit covered stockyard checks, dimensional verification, and on‑site discussions on packaging and delivery — a routine but critical step before each bulk order leaves our warehouse.

Product: Carbon Steel Plate

Carbon steel plate is one of our core products, widely used in shipbuilding, construction machinery, pressure vessels, bridge structures, and general fabrication. We supply both hot‑rolled and cold‑rolled carbon steel plate in a full range of grades and dimensions, with mill test certificates (MTC) provided for every batch.

What the Client Saw on Site

Our carbon steel plate stockyard currently holds a stable inventory across multiple grades and thickness ranges. Each stack is clearly marked with grade, size, and batch number, and plates are stored on timber sleepers under covered shelter to keep surface condition clean before shipment.

During the inspection, the client walked through the yard with our sales and QC teams, randomly sampled plates from different stacks, and cross‑checked actual dimensions against the mill test certificates. Surface finish, edge condition, and mill stamp legibility were all reviewed and recorded.

Ready for Global Shipping

All plates passed the inspection. The consignment will be packed with seaworthy wrapping, strapped, and loaded under overhead crane supervision before container stuffing. We will issue the full MTC, packing list, and loading photos once the goods are sealed.
