Carbon Steel Plate
Hardox wear plate 400/450/500
Carbon steel plates are iron-carbon alloy plates with carbon as the main alloying element. Common models include Q235B, Q345B, SS400, A36, S45C, SPCC, etc. The products are divided into hot-rolled carbon steel plates and cold-rolled carbon steel plates, covering low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, high-carbon steel and high-strength structural steel series. The thickness range is 1mm – 200mm.

1. How to get samples to check the quality? How long can I get the samples?
After the price is confirmed, samples can be provided for your evaluation. After confirming the sample details, the samples will be ready for delivery within 3-7 days, and sent to you by courier, and arrive within 3-5 days.

Answer: Yes absolutely we accept.
4.Can you accept customization?
Answer:Yes. If you have special requirements on products or packages, we can do customization for you.
5.How do you control the quality?
Answer:We have professional inspectors to analyze chemical composition of raw materials and test the finished products strictly according to standard stipulated in the contract. In this process, Internal and external surfaces, two ends appearance, bending degree, fixed length, outer diameter and wall thickness dimension etc will be checked one by one. You can be assured that all the products you get from us are reliable.

What is Hardox Wear Plate?
Simply put, Hardox Wear Plate is a fully hardened wear-resistant steel plate. Its performance advantages are evident in multiple aspects:
Exceptional Wear Resistance: It exhibits consistent hardness not only on the surface but throughout the entire thickness of the plate. Compared to ordinary structural steel, its service life can be extended by up to 4 times.
Superior Machinability: Despite its high hardness, it can be cut, bent, welded, and machined with far less process demands than traditional wear-resistant steels.
Exceptional Toughness: It withstands intense impacts and vibrations without cracking easily, unlike typical hard materials.
Enables Equipment Lightweighting: Leveraging its high strength, designers can use thinner steel plates to manufacture components, significantly reducing overall equipment weight without sacrificing performance. This enhances fuel efficiency and load-bearing capacity.
Key Members of the Hardox Wear Plate Family
To meet diverse operational demands, the Hardox family has developed an extensive product line. Below are some of its core members:
| Product Name | Typical Hardness | Core Features | Primary Applications |
| Hardox 400 | 400 HBW | All-Round Entry-Level: Excellent weldability and cold bendability, easy to process. | Buckets, liners, moderately worn conveyor components. |
| Hardox 450 | 450 HBW | Industry Benchmark: Widest global application, achieving an ideal balance between hardness, strength, and toughness. | Dump truck bodies, excavator buckets, crushers, hoppers. |
| Hardox 500 | 500 HBW | Performance Upgrade: Higher wear resistance than 450, significantly extending equipment lifespan. | High-intensity ore handling, extremely wear-resistant liners, screen bars, etc. |
| Hardox 550 | 550 HBW | Challenging Wear: For extremely severe abrasion conditions, an ideal replacement for high-manganese steel. | Crusher liners, chutes, breakers in recycling equipment. |
| Hardox 600 | 600 HBW | Top-tier wear resistance: Maintains exceptional toughness at extreme hardness levels, ranking among the world’s hardest wear plates. | Cement plant molds, high-performance liners in material handling, mixer liners. |
| Hardox Extreme | 60 HRC (约650-700 HBW) | Ultimate choice: The world’s hardest wear plate, engineered for extreme abrasion applications. | Glass recycling equipment liners, specialized liners for high-wear sectors. |
